International antidoping clean sport forum was held in Raubichi

The International antidoping Clean sport forum was held on September 5-6 in Raubichi. This is the first large-scale international anti-doping event in the CIS countries. The forum brought together more than 500 participants from Belarus, Russia, Brazil, Kazakhstan, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of South Africa.

The Forum was organized by the Russian Anti-Doping Agency RUSADA, the National Anti-Doping Agency of the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Olympic Committee, the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation.

The history of the Forum began in 2022, when the I All-Russian Forum of Clean Sports was held at MGIMO University in Moscow. In 2023, the II All-Russian Forum of Clean Sports was held in the city of Suzdal, and in July 2024, the III All-Russian Forum “Sport. Anti-doping. Health. Practice of interdepartmental interaction” was successfully held in the city of Tambov.

On September 5, the first day of the Forum, a plenary meeting was held with the participation of the Minister of Sports and Tourism Sergei Kovalchuk, the President of the Russian Olympic Committee Stanislav Pozdnyakov, the President of the Russian Ski Federation Elena Vyalbe, NADA Director Denis Muzzhukhin and RUSADA General Director Veronika Loginova.

The Forum also included a round table and a scientific section “Science for Anti-Doping: Integration of Scientific and Practical Knowledge – the Path to Clean Sport”. Experts from anti-doping organizations, sports medicine specialists and scientists discussed modern scientific research and practical approaches in the field of anti-doping.

During the break between sessions a master class “Psychotechnologies in Sports” was held for the Forum participants.

On September 6, within the framework of the Forum, a panel session “Anti-doping compass: a navigator for organizers of major competitions” was held, which provided practical recommendations and tools for the effective implementation and compliance with anti-doping rules at all stages of preparation and holding of competitions, as well as a round table “The Future World Anti-Doping Program: Code and International Standards 2027”, which discussed upcoming changes in anti-doping legislation.

The speakers were Vice-President of the National Olympic Committee of Belarus Dmitry Dovgalenok, General Director of the South African Institute of Clean Sports Khalid Galant, Deputy General Director of RUSADA Victoria Barinova, Deputy President of the National Anti-Doping Organization of Brazil Anthony Moreira, Head of the Department of International Relations of the Children of Asia Committee Sardaana Zhendrinskaya, and others.
